Opening Hours

The grounds of the Vienna Prater are freely accessible every day, around the clock.

However, the opening hours of the individual rides, restaurants, and amusement businesses are set by the respective Prater operators themselves. Therefore, opening hours may vary depending on the season, weather, and individual business.

During the main season from 15 March to 31 October, most of our rides are open. In case of heavy rain, storms, or very bad weather, some or even many businesses may remain closed.

From Monday to Friday, our rides usually open from around 12:00 noon. On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during the summer months, we open earlier and stay open longer.

From 1 November to 14 March, operations are limited. This means: the Prater is not closed, but only some rides and businesses are open. Which businesses are open during this period also depends on the weather.
